Edgemont Village

Nestled in a lovely residential community, Edgemont Village is a vibrant shopping district within North Vancouver. This outdoor mall is conveniently located off the north end of Capilano Road, for the residents of Capilano Highlands, Delbrook, and Pemberton Heights to enjoy. It offers a variety of coffee shops, restaurants, local artisans and specialty shops, as well as all the amenities you need. It’s become one of our favorite places to explore and our brokerage, Oakwyn Realty, has recently opened a new office in Edgemont Village!

Below we've set out some fun facts about the area, a few of our favourite businesses, as well as information on other amenities Edgemont Village and the surrounding area have to offer including schools, parks and recreation. We've also included neighbourhood statistics at the end, and would be happy to chat with you further should you be looking to call Edgemont Village home.
THE EDGEMONT CLOCK
One of the first things you’ll notice when walking the the Edgemont Village shopping strip is this little piece of history:

The iconic Edgemont clock can be seen at the intersection of Highland and Edgemont Boulevard. The clock was once at risk of being torn down, but was preserved by a group of generous local residents who purchased the clock, and donated it to the village to save it from demolition.
MURALS AND PUBLIC ART

Just outside of Krave Kulture, you can see another vibrant attraction to Edgemont Village: its participation in the Vancouver Mural Fest 2021. Besides Jessica Fortner’s stunning mural (pictured above,) there are three other artists’ creations in this year’s festival scattered throughout Edgemont Village. Find out more below:

BJORNBAR BAKERY
Take a look at this cute coffee shop & bakery, where you can stop in to warm up on a rainy afternoon:

Made fresh daily, these mouth-watering treats are sure to keep you energized as you peruse the nearby stores. Make sure to try their Vegan Bliss Bar: chocolate cake filled with vegan vanilla buttercream, dipped in chocolate and coconut - it won’t disappoint!
KRAVE KULTURE YOGURT
Whether it’s sweet, savory or a smoothie, Krave Kulture has something unique and interesting for you to try.

Krave Kulture gives a whole new meaning to ‘frozen yogurt,’ offering delicious combinations of flavors you’ve probably never heard of! They even have vegan options, delicious smoothies and yogurt you can take home.

KOKOMO
Kokomo is a must try and one of my favourite places to stop for a quick healthy option. This plant-focused cafe offers an amazing menu of fresh bowls and smoothies. Don't forget to try their chai latte, too!
GROCERIES
Located in the heart of Edgemont Village you'll find Thrifty Foods (with free underground parking) which has a wide variety of products and is known for their friendly staff and service.

Columbus Farm Market is a great option for fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, and other products made in British Columbia.
